Write to me, we find a date, and you tell me what you would like to come away with. I take care of everything else.

I help you choose what to wear, and what to have ready for the horse.

Usually 60 to 90 minutes in golden-hour light. No rushing — we go at a pace your horse is happy with.

How long it takes depends on the session — I let you know as soon as we finish.

Beyond my portfolio

My work has been awarded, and has run on the covers of equestrian magazines, in veterinary journals and in the PhotoVogue Italia selection.

None of them were made for a magazine. They were made for particular people and their horses — out of what is between them, who they are, and the time they spend together.

Questions

Common questions

What should I wear?

Simple shapes and soft natural colours work best — beige, brown, cream, deep green. Steer clear of big prints and lettering. If you are unsure, we go through it together beforehand.

Where do the sessions happen?

Usually at your own stable, or in a field your horse already knows. Familiar ground keeps them settled, and that shows in the pictures. If you have nowhere suitable, I help you find somewhere.

Does the horse have to be mine?

No. I photograph stable horses, borrowed horses, and the one you ride at training. The only thing that matters is that the two of you know each other.

How long does a session take?

Allow 60 to 90 minutes. We usually start about an hour and a half before sunset, when the light is at its best.

What if it rains?

I shoot in rain, fog, wind and snow. Those are often the strongest frames — the ones fair weather would never give you. Just dress so that you are comfortable. I only move a date if the weather would be hard on the horse.

When will I get my photographs?

It depends on the session. A straightforward sitting with one horse comes back sooner. Several horses, changes of outfit or heavier retouching all take longer.
